Whisky reviews for Bruichladdich 1991 Sc

The aroma is thick, fat: iodine, salted meat, smoked bacon, vanilla, wood with resin, apples, citrus, grass, unripe fruit. With warming more spicy, creamy. With a drop of water, a lighter, lemon. The taste is rich, spicy: pepper, vanilla, cream, lemons, nuts, wood, bitter. With a drop of water softer, more rounded; Citruses are strengthened, bitterness is smoothed. Aftertaste : vanilla, cream, apples, vegetable tones, spices, nuts, butter, astringent oak. Conclusion . Well-built, moderately stitched, consistent whisky. Without much enthusiasm, but without flaws. Interesting. Delicious. Score 88 (n22t22f22b22).
