Whisky Reviews for MacPhail's 50-year-old GM

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 92.60 points

  1. Titi94 did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

    Tasting Notes by SCOMA:

Aroma: Sweetness, notes of pine resin and green grass, sherry notes evolve slowly along with a toffee sweetness.

Taste: Sweet and spicy, sherry with a hint of charred wood, chocolate with a hint of menthol.

Finish: Sherry sweetness with a hint of phenol.

  2. QuarterCentury did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

A ripe, juicy, thickly sherried whisky. This is a great 50-year-old dram
from Gordon and MacPhail. It was matured in refill sherry casks, which
allowed the distillery character to shine through.
