Color
Pale gold
Nose

Heavy peat, dark chocolate, earth, ash, iodine, broth, vanilla, peach, citrus and prunes. In that order: first mainly the peat and everything that comes with it, but then getting ever fruitier.

Taste

Peat, ash, tar, chocolate, caramel, a fried sweet dough something (let's say churros), vanilla, dried apricot. Also a bit of whipped cream, which becomes stronger when adding water.

Finish

Long and warming with peat, tar, dark chocolate, mocha, dried apricot and prunes.

Comments

Blind tasting of a sample.

C: white wine
N(neat): honey, fruits, peaches, apricots, soaked raisins, tar, sea(weed), charcoal and bacon?
(w.w.):  almost the same with fermented fruits, tar-smoke.
P(neat): creamy, lots of fruits, ashes!, almost (light)chewable;
(w.w.): same, sweeter, nicer?
F: medium long, lightly smoked(not peated)
C: A smooth whisky, I like it, especially that creamy(oilyish) caracter!
Reminds of a Caol Ila(long time ago).
