  1. Malthead19 scored this whisky 82 points Connoisseur

    COLOR: straw, very light for 15 y.
    - this single malt needs water a lot of water!
    - For the 15 years of maturation still very rough and also works
    somewhat out of round
    - not easy, takes time to enjoy and to
    exact coordination with water, yet with the far
    over 100 € called prices here a curve joke, im
    Not worth life! (so if you want to drink it ...)
    • Nose
      strong, you can smell the high% but it is not unpleasant (does not seem "bubbly"), yellow fruits, mirabelle plums, flowery, light oak note, mint, freshness
    • Taste
      Without W .: burns on the lip and tongue, behind the burn you can recognize the mirabelle plums, peach and oak

      with W .: despite the water, a very strong character remains, still burns slightly, oak comes out a little more spicy
    • Finish
      medium-long spicy finish;
      long, strong, voluminous aftertaste

    A lout; rough, still hot despite water, very intense, ripe; obviously only ex-Bourbon barrels; All in all a good malt!
    [Color] honey;
    • Nose
      diluted: flowery, slightly fruity (pear, citrus), cereals, malt, noticeably vanilla, light alcohol;
    • Taste
      diluted: powerful but sharp onset; Obstler, woody pears, caramel (slightly creamy), vanilla (?), Honey, malt, wood, complex;
    • Finish
      a long, intense finish; in the end pears;
