    blind tasting note
    • Nose
creamy, black berries, fresh, mint, yoghurt, orange peel, oloroso sherry?, nuts, some oak and tobacco
    • Taste
spices, some honey, wax (Clynelish), roasted barley and some caramel
    • Finish
some spices, caramel, potatoes and citrus - grape fruits

  4. KayMeertens scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

A really odd whisky on which the rum cask has put a very prominent mark. I get toffee, orange lemonade, papaya, chocolate, plum, pepper, egg, finger paint and clay. Even a little sulphur perhaps. The finish shows more rum than whisky. This is a weirdo, which makes it likeable in a strange way.
