Very mediocre for a 12 year old Highland. Not bad, but nothing outstanding.
    • Nose
      81 81
Butterscotch, tangerines, raisins, oil for tanning
    • Taste
      80 80
      Baguette, Raisin, Belgian Waffles, Toast
    • Finish
      84 84
      Medium: raisins, toasted toast, waffles

  2. Whisky Hamster scored this whisky 79 points Expert Senior

Harmless in a good and bad way. Typical "castrated to 40 abv., chillfiltered and coloered" 12yo that is not really bad and probably a pleasant entry malt for a beginners's tasting.
    • Nose
      Mild, stewed yellow fruit
    • Taste
Yellow fruity, a bit watery (if you have already tasted from the forbidden tree that is 46 abv.), balanced.
    • Finish
A bit wood, but not a very long afterhall. Easy to sip all in all, but rather a simpleton in the malt world

Whisky from the category seems to be not bad, but for the money I’ll probably take something else, one approach was enough for me.

  5. Martin1965 scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
      Heather, peach, pineapple, honey, pears
    • Taste
      Heather, pear, tangerines
    • Finish
Spicy, medium length and dry with orange

      Balanced, spicy and fruity

  6. Robinzon25 scored this whisky 80 points Expert Senior

Fairly simple, but tasty and very “strong” whisky. It is not without reason that the label depicts a squirrel, with a nut trail, aroma, taste and aftertaste are penetrated.
    • Nose
Thick, almond, malt, vanilla, slightly oak, slightly honey, with peppercorn.
    • Taste
Citruses, ginger and brown bread in the foreground. Apples, hazelnuts and fruit sweets on the second.
    • Finish
Short, orange, honey, interspersed with cinnamon, black pepper and hazelnuts, a little creamy milk, bread, raisins. At the end, slightly bitter, oak.

  7. LeChiffre scored this whisky 79 points Connoisseur

"Easy drinking" Malt. A malt with a nice fruity note, but lacking complexity and alcohol content. Lies pretty watery in the mouth. Easy to drink and delicious, but also unspectacular.
    • Nose
      79 79
intense sweet and fruity; bright fruits; Honey; slight herbal notes; mild and balanced
    • Taste
      79 79
mild, almost watery onset; nice syrupy mouthfeel; fruity sweetness (light fruit, citrus); Honey; behind it comes a light, pleasant oak
    • Finish
      78 78
spicy; with a subtle sweetness; slight nut flavors; increasingly a slight bitterness occurs

Intense nutty, slightly sherry, sweet spicy. Easy apple. Nice!

Color: here was probably quite helped.

Nose: cooking apples stored in a cellar in the cellar; Honey; could have been distilled emotionally in a fruit distillery, but very pleasing

Taste: syrupy, mead enriched with cider

Finish: now there are clear notes of vanilla and chocolate added; Mandarin peel? The oak also gives a fine bitterness.

Not too subtle, but immaculate. Absolutely suitable to turn a beginner to the ever-addicted whisky lover ...
My bottle has the bottle code: L1035018594A (after I'm an absolute opponent of producing a separate page on WB for every day's production, I allow myself to smuggle my thoughts in here, of course, the barcode is true)
