Very mediocre for a 12 year old Highland. Not bad, but nothing outstanding.

Color: here was probably quite helped.

Nose: cooking apples stored in a cellar in the cellar; Honey; could have been distilled emotionally in a fruit distillery, but very pleasing

Taste: syrupy, mead enriched with cider

Finish: now there are clear notes of vanilla and chocolate added; Mandarin peel? The oak also gives a fine bitterness.

Not too subtle, but immaculate. Absolutely suitable to turn a beginner to the ever-addicted whisky lover ...
My bottle has the bottle code: L1035018594A (after I'm an absolute opponent of producing a separate page on WB for every day's production, I allow myself to smuggle my thoughts in here, of course, the barcode is true)

if you do not drink it too slowly and do not try to analyze it it can be quite good - just drink easy - the new filling is sweet and syrupy - I personally like it better.
    • Nose
mineral sour bourbon barrel, citrus aromas, oak grind dust, honey, wax
    • Taste
Cardboard box, oak horseradish, honey, lemon, eucalyptus, slightly watery but slightly alcoholic, is getting sweeter with each sip
    • Finish
quite short, nutty, slightly oak, slightly minty

I tasted this one on Islay between loud festival bottlings and Cask Sample grenades, and in fact it did not completely go under. I have just looked again, the current bottling has received from me benevolent 74 points, the old one here is much better! Thanks for the sample!
    • Nose
Instantly slightly sour, unripe yellow fruit and mineral notes in the nose. Stability does not change anything important, some honey is added and a very light herbal note. The nose differs significantly from the current bottling. Warms noticeable tickling in the nose, despite the low alcohol strength, more honey, some eucalyptus less fresh. The alcohol goes back, then it reminds strongly of marshmallows.
    • Taste
Sweet honey, an idea herbs, dries backwards with some oak. The mouthfeel is quite thin, also the alcohol does not seem strong, but also not very lax. Since the biggest advantage of this old bottling of the new faces.
    • Finish
Warming alcohol actually comes out, even clearly, the sweetness disappears and leaves a slight bitterness, the whole looks quite balanced.
