Very positive: nothing of the distillery character was drowned in the sherry. A great Brora experience!
The prices that are called for this, however, are incredible.
Slightly animal-like sherry, salted caramel, apricot tart and beeswax, some amaretto that remained in the glass from yesterday and a little minty freshness (towards pinimenthol).
Immediately mega-waxy and oily, at the same time filigree. A sweet and spicy whipped cream!
Everything is just right here in the mouth.
Mild and harmonious ending, you don't notice the wood, everything is very balanced, at the end there is a pinch of springbankesque, i.e. delicate smokiness.
