Maybe it's even a bit too much and over the top. But it does work!
N: The red wine pops out of the glass. Not bad with a Saint Emilion cask. Stone fruit, light acidity of the wine. Raspberry and strawberry candies. Orange chips and some citrus zest and a little hint of nutmeg.
P: thick syrupy mouthfeel, red wine, red fruit, pepper, milk chocolate, orange, pim's (LU) and some sweets such as fruit drops.
F: Red wine (how could it be otherwise). Other than that, everything from the palette comes forward. What is striking is how subtle the tannins are in the aftertaste. The finish is medium long and slightly tingling on the tongue.
