Finally the time has come. Does he need water? No he does not. The mouthfeel of this still relatively young malt is surprisingly soft and creamy. The feeling on the palate spontaneously reminds me of high-quality, long-conched dark chocolate with a lot of soft melt. Only the rising, smoldering warmth on the tongue reminds me of the respectable alcohol strength of our test subject. The chocolate notes mix with a kind of blackberry wine. I don't really feel bitterness. Instead real cocoa, neither too sweet nor too bitter. Spicy, fine and wonderfully warm. A great, strong winter malt without any blame, which ends in a long finish with tobacco notes, sweet, dark berries and fine lime. Class! Today the selling price would be in three digits - and the malt would be a bit sulphurous and / or woody bitter in return.
