N: Pencil shavings, fruit cup, tin, lightly floral, vanilla, white pepper, a bit grainy, quite hot.
P: A bit closed at first but water opens it up. It becomes much creamier, stone fruit, vanilla bean, buttered toast, jelly beans
F: medium finish, very clean with white fruit, white pepper, wood spice and a pinch of salt, jelly beans. Still prickly as well.
Thoughts: A very clean and quaffable Cooley. It packs a punch at almost 59%, and is too hot at that strength, but bringing it down to about 50% it opens up nicely. Actually I like it closer to 40%, handles water well IMO. Always appreciate trying IB Cooley.
