Angus explained that this had a broken maturation - Signatory removed it from the original refill sherry butt to a holding vessel for another customer, but when that sale fell through they returned it to a different cask of the same type. In the interval it spent about 18 months out of wood.
Mineral, sharp sea air... initially a little shy, but it improves substantially with airing.
