N: Another young peat blend, malty, oily and erm - light. Theres no monster here with a modest ppm of 12 [from Ardmore]

T: Much more confident arrival than the peated 'Glasgow blend' with more of an intense concentration seeping into the palate.

F: Peat resides with young [but tamed] spirit into a grain finish.

C: Very similar to the Glasgow blend but with a tad more depth, delivery and mouthfeel.

Scores a C+

Nez tourbe, terre, légère note vanillée. Bouche tourbe, âcreté, soufre. Légèrement salin. Assez unidimensionnel, moins bon que le Laphroaig 10.

Color
Pale gold
Nose

Rough with a lot of bitter overtones on the palate, truly a monster. You have to love him or you can let`em stay. A world apart, with plenty of salty peat smoke. Bitterly pungent and strong. A dram, not for all cases.
