Region: Honshu, Japan
Special feature: Blended Malt
Nose: Dry peat smoke, hazelnuts and a hint of dark fruits. Slightly mineral, some coast and salt. The dry smoke is above everything, the sweet fruit takes time to develop and then reminds of raspberries.
Palate: Strong with a lot of malt and a dry mouthfeel, currants and herbs as well as some oak.
Finish: Very long with lots of character and a dry oak note.
Conclusion: Nice and strong he comes therefore. Good value for money.
