    The nose is well above, even if the mouth is austere but nice. A profile a little special, not what I expected.
    • Nose
      Very fresh nose. Apple, cinnamon, lemon sweet candy, plum brandy. Light mineral. A bit of wax. Medicinal about eucalyptus.
    • Taste
      A little too watery, very mineral, chalk, pebbles, rainwater. A layer of clove. A bit of OBE. Herbaceous (thyme)
    • Finish
      Finale on apples, barley, a little bit of OBE and herbaceous (eucalyptus, grass)

    • Nose
      First of: weapon & linseed oil, musty leaning towards moldy, wet granite, canned pears over their use by date, cereal/grains. A tiny bit  later: still very oily, but lost it's moldy character quite quickly (fault from the ceramic decanter...?), also somewhat dusty & drier on top of the oil notes, metallic, toasted/dry cereal. (86)
      A bit later: less oily, still musty, hardly metallic now, replaced by ripe red apples, (faint beeswax & oak = ) beeswax polished oak, apricots, salty licorice. (90)
      Later: now very sweet, still very musty, a whole basket of over ripe garden fruits, vanilla pipe tobacco, butterfudge, no oil or metal aromas, wax & woodyness much quieter now, more fruit/peel wax, also, a little library with some olf books. (93)
    • Taste
      weird sweet-bitterness upfont (again, the 20 years in the decanter showing...?), quite sharp fruityness leaning towards perfume, star anise, faint beeswax, merengue. (86)
    • Finish
      creamyness steps up a notch, fruits poke their heads again, very very faint smoke occasionally,looong. (93) Wood coming through towards the end with quite a bit of dryness. (90)
      Later: develops cardboard & penicilin notes as well, dryness turning bitter after only 10-20 minutes in the glass. Meh. (81)

    This one is on my sample list, as well as the EU version.
    • Nose
      Starts off with a with a whiff of clay or an old-fashioned eraser gum, which may come from the jug. Then lots of papaya. Mango and marzipan as well.
    • Taste
      Peach, mango and honey.
    • Finish
      Peach and vanilla.
