Light sherry influence, soft sweet mild and delicious. A bit stale.
Long and soft sweet
- Nice Irish one, accessible, fresh and pleasant aroma's and flavours.
Fresh and fruity, apples, some citrus, furniture polish. Also some earthy tones, an autumn forest after a rainshower. Later on sweet, vanilla cake.
Sweet, fresh and fruity. Vanilla, citrus, apples, again these sort of earthy tones. Slightly pungent, pretty full taste.
Still a little pungent, fruity and sweet, some honey, citrus. Middlelong finish, still some feeling of a moisterous autumn forest.
- Sweet, red apples, allspices, christmas cake, fresh, furniture polish notes on nose.
Dried fruits, apples, sweet, oak cask notes on taste.
Long finish with spices, oak cask, apples and vanilla notes.
- I like it. I think these potstills from Ireland have a typical intense fruity spiciness.
fruity, yellow fruits, with caramel and vanilla. Intensive. Direction pear, quince, with a fairly pronounced spiciness.
first sweet, then fruity, quince and mint with a sweet intensive seasoning. Some lemon mixed with vanilla.
medium. it leaves the oak spice with a slight fruity sweetness, with mint.
- Very fine Irishman.
Very rich fruity nose, sweet fruit, tropical fruits like pineapple, mango, peach. A touch of vanilla underneath.
Soft, fruity taste. Small bitterness in the background. Rich and full.
Beautiful, full, creamy finish. Medium.
- Different and much better than the 12. years. 46% is better.
Aromas of fruit compote, cinnamon and clove. A good clean streak running through it, but the rich spiciness dominates.
A touch drier than expected, with austere peppery spice, making its presence felt, but sweetened up with spicy oak and fresh apple and mango.
Dry peppery and spicy.
- Here you have the Irish thick character from the single Pot Still.
Concerning price/performance ratio: 8/10
Sweet fruity sherry. Berries (gooseberry, blackberry), apples, caramel, raisins, roasted almonds.
Sweet fruity sherry again. Berries cooked and stewed. Some leather way in the back.
Medium. Red and dark fruit gums. Some vegetables in the back.
