- A wonderfully balanced standard. Honey, fruit, oak, malt, vanilla. Exactly the right drinking strength, not weak or sloping in the mouth. On the contrary: For "only" 43% alcohol content intense and powerful, and then a comparatively long and pleasantly warm finish.
- You might think that 43% Vol. Actually can not really transport flavors. This succeeds BenRiach but quite. Of course, this is no fireworks at the same time overwhelmed the malt but not synonymous. Since you can not complain big. PLV is excellent, gives the guy always around 40 €. Personally, I would put the Euros but rather in the 20s. ;)
fresh and fruity. Reminds somehow of a meadow orchard on the different apple and pear trees and bees peacefully hum. One lies under one of the trees and smells resin and freshly broken branches. Alcohol flashes through again and again, in the form of peppery notes.
slight pungency through the oak (peffrig) gives the hand with a pleasant sweetness (honey, caramel, vanilla). This is accompanied by a nice, subtle acid reminiscent of apple and pear. In general, the malt can be described well with green fruits.
The mouthfeel is creamy to oily.
The finish starts slightly malty and then becomes increasingly dry. Towards the end then slightly tart notes.

Very nice tart, full apple notes, as if you grind apples, beautiful soft malt notes, marzipan, vanilla, a little light honey, pear, nettle melon, very nice freshness in it, a hint of mint as well
Here again directly the beautiful, already slightly mushy apple, red and green, pear, slight heather meadow, generally a little grassy and even a little floral, nice fresh honey from the forest, nettle melon, some lemon, mint, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon, also slightly sour malt and vllt. A touch of Heiderauch completely removed
Tart, apple peel + apple, some grapefruit, pear, malty oak with light bitterness, sour-bitter, medium-long, quite yummy, calls for another sip
- A beautiful malt with a varied profile and a great PLV a pity that he was eliminated in 2016

warm - beautiful bourbon tartness, light dryness, nutty bitterness with a lot of dark chocolate and a touch of mint
