    Exciting, pretty own flavor spectrum, where this ashes comes, no idea. The bright fruits and beautiful oldschool sweet malt but I like it well.
    • Nose
      Vineyard peach, pear, alcohol unfortunately clearly noticeable no matter how much time you leave him, sweet malt, fresh wood chips and wood glue, kiwi, lavender, white tea, sage, fennel, ginger and anise
    • Taste
      Pear, green apple, white grapefruit, grapes, crazy, ash, although not smoky, very unique blend of all this, incense sticks, almonds, pistachios, eucalyptus, sweet malt, candy cane, lemon drops, lime sorbet
    • Finish
      Sweet malt, noticeable tannins, almonds, kiwi and lime with shell, medium to long, astringent

    Smell: apple sauce, grilled eel sauce, lemon zest, mahogany closet, brown sugar ginger tea, after adding water, the meat taste is clearer, the sweetness is more and more rampant, steamed meat, red date fudge, grapefruit concentrated syrup.

    Drink: Light body, warm burning sensation, concentration, citrus peel, berry juice, the end rhyme like bitterness of biting a few lemon cores, and it has been lingering.

    Feeling: maybe due to the ageing of the bottle for too long (this is the part at the bottom of the bottle), the body has lost most of its vitality, and the aroma has also lost a lot. The smell of sulfur runs through the front and back, making the body become sensual, and The high sweetness brought by FINO, I should have had it earlier. Looking forward to the next 68/69/72 Longmorn performance.

    Rare Fino barrel rum whisky
    • Nose
      91 91
      Smell: malt aroma, oiliness, grapefruit, orange peel and lemon, ripe peaches, add some water to feel the ginger and some spices, and the aroma of black tea;
    • Taste
      89 89
      Entrance: the aroma of salty lemon and black tea, and the wonderful floral and fruity blend of tea, just like entering a British tea shop, rich raisins, woody herbs, bacon and mulled wine;
    • Finish
      88 88
      End rhyme: Layers of toast and tannin aroma, slightly tightened tail end, lemon aroma shows great, long end rhyme, dried apricot ~ still tea ~~~ wonderful!

    Holy crap! This was split among three giants in the industry and the quality shows on it!

    The Fino cask really shines through here giving a fantastic dram and an incredible profile to Longmorn! The finish is a little intense and starts to show off some bigger character.... well worth seeking out!

      The nose is exquisite! Finish sherry and incredible whisky waited 37 years for this! Dates, unagi barbecue sauce, quince jam, polished oak tannins, mesquite, acorn purée, and woody vanilla cream pie. Wow, this just keeps going on; I can keep this up all night in a nose like this!
    • Taste
      95 95
      The palate is rich; fino lead woody spices, herbal and subtle winey twists. Malt and almost wheat notes, floral tones and more creamy vanilla. Twists of bark and shoe polish, floral pansy and maybe something like baby’s breath too; super soft and subtle. Hints of old forest floor, and hemp twine mingle with crushed aloe vera with some grape coffee toffee notes too. Marzipan and and mineral sweets and lambs wool!
    • Finish
      91 91
      The finish is intense; long and sharp. Big bodied oak and grape must meet the mineral notes of almond skins and dried apricots. Tea tannins and cut plantings with some custard and lanolin notes. Wow!

    Very tasty Longmorn that doesn't drink to strength. Water optional for this one, nice either way.

    Very good but not my favorite profile.
    • Nose
      Plums, pears, white peaches, all slightly tart. There's a candily-like/sweet perfume too. Loukoum ? With time, winey, spicy and smoky.
    • Taste
      Strong, yellow fruits, grapes, spices, some herbal notes. Liquory.
    • Finish
      Long, fruity, spicy and drying with time.
