There are no dried fruits or anything like that from the sherry cask below. In my opinion, the barrel was already pretty exhausted.
Sulfur, ripe apple, citrus and quince. The sulfur is a little off-putting, the fruits are not bad, I was expecting a little sherry too.
Quince dominates. The sulfur is almost gone now. Strong body but tastes downright mild for a strong cask. No hissing or biting.
Woody notes, apple and quince
