    • Nose
From the start, it is obvious that this cask of PX will express itself fully. The texture is relatively unctuous, the flavors oriented towards chocolate, figs, dates. It is also a gourmet aspect, with this kind of fruit jellies, let's say with blackcurrants, blueberries. The alcohol is not noticeable, which I hope announces pleasure and complexity. We're in the Christmas Cake mood, I'm quite a fan.
    • Taste
Wow yes, it's very good and to be honest it makes me think of very good versions from Glendronach, Cask Strength versions of the past, less the small sulfur bottom. We are on this development of coffee, chocolate, it's a little drier and spicier, but still very generous. A bit of bitter orange, nuts. It does not lack character and depth, with more wood, a return to these notions of small berries even if it is a little more raw.
    • Finish
There we are clearly on this bitter orange, its zest. At the same time, we keep this strong coffee and dark chocolate style, but also old leather, dates. It is, it must be admitted, a style of whisky that is good to find again, because it seems to me that it had disappeared from my radar for a while. Congratulations to the Brotherhood.

    characteristic sweet sherry

    on cooked fruits, on tangerine
almond suddenly, quite young, on the stem of elderberry; Christmas spices with cinnamon and nutmeg; custard afterwards that simmered on the fireside; then comes white chocolate and coffee extract on a praline base; the crushed nuts at this time
