Glen Keith 1997-2022 25Yo #100992 Baroque NSPS
48.6%, non-chill filtered, no added caramel color, matured in non-barrel strong pig's head barrels.
Smell: cool green apple, Apple Fanta; vanilla milk, wheat fragrance.
Entrance: Slightly numb. The main note is sweet, with rock sugar, green apple, pear, mango, apricot... complemented by woody notes and a little herbal. The overall performance is mixed and consistent.
Finish: Longer woody notes, ending with a touch of green apple peel.
This wine is very sweet, full of drinkability and pleasure. Although it is relatively average in terms of layering and complexity, I don't really appreciate other wines adding some interesting but not so pleasant flavors. Approaches to layering and complexity.
Finally, the Glen Keith 21YO (OB) I drank in the middle of last year has a woody aroma that makes me feel very Zen in the middle. I don’t have this kind of experience in this sharing bottle. I don’t know if it’s the wine or I have changed. , or just share the state of the bottle itself not fully opened?
