Since MoS has knocked out another one.
    • Nose
      88 88
Initially clearly alcoholic and cooling on the nose. Very Christmassy flavors then emerge - dates, cinnamon sticks, plums, fig jam, sticky pine needles, sage, rum raisins, oak spice, ginger.

Quite complex for a 12 or 13 year old, but the alcohol isn't perfectly integrated and distracts a bit from the actual flavors. So I add a drop.

The water noticeably softens the alcoholic impression, but the other aromas are also weakened almost equally. You can dilute it, but you don't have to.
    • Taste
      89 89
Very lively on the tongue. Date syrup, fresh spices, nutmeg, oak, dark plum jam, milk chocolate, honey, beeswax candles, lovage, juicy stone fruit, berries. Very intense, voluminous and of high quality.
    • Finish
      89 89
These aromas flash up again clearly on the finish and become drier before they culminate in a heavy, dry composition of oak, viscous syrup, various spices, forest honey and dark fruits and then slowly fade away.

    Nose:
Black Forest cake and rum raisins in liquid form.
    Kirschwasser, Rum-Grape-Nut Chocolate. forest honey.

    Mouth:
A little bit alcoholic at the start. Sour cherry, wild berry jam. Dates with cinnamon and allspice. Spice speculoos and milk chocolate.

    Finish:
Medium length, sweet and spicy at the same time in the aftertaste. Cherry notes again

    87/100

    Conclusion:
Nice cherry notes and sweet and spicy. Looks very wintry and fits perfectly into the cold season.
