Tawny port is the first one I tasted. Single cask, natural colour, non-chill filtered. On paper, it lacks only the age statement for being an integrity malt. The tawny port finish adds some good points on paper, too.
And it is an honourable start, I hope they will continue and the quality will improve with aging, of course. This one feels young & unrested ;-)
Quite basic, young malt, nothing special.
Some small oil traces on the glass - they disappear fast. The colour suggest the port cask influence, but limited due to the young age (4-5 years, I presume)
Surprisingly interesting taste following the basic flavours discovered after nosing.
Port is predominant, the alcohol is quite present, even more that you would usually expect from a 46%-er
