A massive amount of sherry with a sulfuric note. Very intense at just under 45.9% abv. Way too expensive for a such a one-dimensional sherry bomb.

Can you drink, is similar to a Glenallachie 15 or Glen Garioch 15 although both are cheaper and I find the Glen Garioch much better.
For €70+ definitely too expensive, €50 would be appropriate.

A really very nice sherry bomb. For me once again a highlight among the standards.

Yes, sherry bomb. Yes, not very complex. But still very tasty.

    Manufacturer information:
    • Nose
The first nose starts off immensely lush with a subtle blend of raisins, tangerines, peach, tea cake, candied fruit and half-baked caramel cookie dough. Underneath, a hint of spices and solid oak smolder along with fine caramel and rich toffee notes. Towards the end, this malt scores with a subtle, reserved note of bitter orange.
    • Taste
The taste begins as complex as the nose. Notes of fruity raisin cake, vanilla and caramel form a well composed overture. Then delicate notes of tangerines, cake spices and toffee are integrated, while the crowning conclusion is formed by fine oak notes and light prunes aromas.
    • Finish
The finish is medium-long and only flattens out slightly after several minutes.

What an incredibly powerful Distillery Edition. When it comes to sherry malts, there is no way around this bottling.

Raisin, but not too much, fruitcake, peach nectar, caramel, chocolate, orange. Totally round, no off notes, nothing disturbing.

With 46% wonderfully drinkable, PLV difficult in order
