Good bottling. And a fantastic price for what the malt delivers.
Red fruits, clear influence of oak from European oak, cinnamon, gingerbread, some herbs, a hint of cocoa
Alcohol well integrated despite the young age.
Looks a bit older on the nose
Strong start, the abv accordingly. Strong, tart notes of wood, the European oak hits the mark. Again spices, cinnamon, a subtle berry fruitiness in the background.
With the first sip, a meaty note flickers briefly, which could be a sulfur compound, but doesn't have to be.
More berry and chocolaty in the second sip. I'm missing some depth, but what am I asking for here? For the age that is already very passable.
Loses intensity relatively quickly, also measured by cask strength, here you can feel the young age the most. But quite tasty, balanced and not short in the true sense. Fades away on the berries
