A very nice cask strength Sherry Dram. Fruity, creamy, long-lasting. Is it really a Glenfarclas? that will probably remain a secret. All in all, a mysterious, delicious sherry whisky.

A lot of wine tones, I looked into the glass, as if into a wine barrel, despite the fact that it is indicated as the second filling, which is doubtful. Candied plum jam, grape marshmallow and raisins, dust, cloves, dark dried roses, dust, cinnamon.

It took me a long time to warm up to this whisky. It took 3-4 attempts but now with the last 2cl from my sample I am convinced.

I already had another Glenfarclas today and I think I can see certain parallels.

As usual, a strong sherry nose, with a sour berry mix (currants, cranberries, cranberries) and dark sour cherries, plus a dark bittersweet chocolate.

In the mouth, the fruits become less sour and the fruitiness remains much sweeter. Some chocolate and liquid caramel sweetness at the back.

Great bottling, absolutely pleasant and round. Complex body, great play of flavors on the palate and on the tongue. Very benevolent. He screams for more. It's a shame that whiskys are getting more and more expensive. I would have liked to have placed another dig or two of that. But times have gotten tough.

Warm, spicy, sherry board, mildly integrated alcohol, delicately sweet, long malty finish with toffee and hints of metal, delicate dryness, astringent, wonderful intensity. Great!
