An extremely unusual whisky that deserves the attention of inquisitive minds exploring new palettes of flavors and aromas!
And again, as was already the case with Kemlya, the heavy negative notes of fish oil and oil gradually disappear in the air.
I really liked the dense and long aftertaste, perhaps this is a matter of taste, not everyone would like licorice, although it loses its strength in the aftertaste with aeration.
Surprised notes of grappa and chacha.
This is a very grape whisky; for me personally - even the most grape!
With water it becomes very sweet, oily and viscous. This whisky is a pleasure to eat.
    My ideal strength: 51.5% ABV

    • Nose
Powerful, pungent, malty, fish oil, hand-rolled tobacco, berry notes.
      Second nose: glandular water, blackcurrant.
It is rather difficult to raise the nose due to the strong cravings of alcoholism.
      Saturation: 8 out of 10
    • Taste
Sweet and sour red berries in large quantities, caramel sweetness and astringency of tannins, grappa, fish oil, table salt, bitter and sour notes of grape berries and pomace, still soft hazel shells.
Burning of young spirits and snappy black pepper.
      Sweetness: 8 out of 10
      Saturation: 10 out of 10
    • Finish
Table salt, licorice syrup, sour raisins, oregano, lightly ground tobacco (even particles are felt on the tongue :), barrel chacha.
Very long, turning into total dryness and wine mold.

The less impact of Caucasian oak, the better! This release was aged for more than half of its term in a Madeira cask and this gave a very interesting result. Whisky combines hints of dried fish and berries. A very unusual combination, but nonetheless curious, not repulsive. But there is also a minus - the excessive influence of the Caucasian oak.
    • Nose
The first nose is spices, resin, oak bark, dried vobla, dusty road. In the background - dried apricots, peach, yellow apple, vanilla. Cool!
    • Taste
Dried apricots, spices, dried fish, salt, pepper, menthol, oak.
    • Finish
Long lasting, sweet-salty. At first - berry (dried apricots, cherry plum), peppery, then exotic tones of vobla and rotten apples appear, at the end there are a lot of rough tannins.
