Littlemill 20 yo 1990/2010 (53.6%, Jack Wiebers, Old Train Line, bourbon) Four stars Colour: gold. Nose: richer, wider and straighter than the 1991, with more wood influence as well, vanilla, a little butter… Other than that the profile is very similar, it’s only got a little more oak. In fact, I think I liked the 1991’s freshness in the nose a notch better but this 1990 is great anyway. Mouth: almost the same palate as the 1991’s, with only a little more oak and maybe added touches of green bananas. Finish: again, a notch rounder and richer than the 1991, but again I liked that one’s zestiness a tad better. Just a tad. Comments: SGP:551 - 87 points.

The nose and the taste are the best part of this Littlemill 1990. Tasted this during the bring your own Littlemill tasting in 2018 it was one of the best during the day.
Now reviewing this again by itself and it is a very good Littlemill.

Grassy and white fruits is what I get at first. Then grapefruits and stewed pears and apples. Somewhat a honey flavour but feels like artificial honey. Lycees emerge now, cool!

Very citric, almost squeezed lemon juice. Then sweet sugars, green apples and a faint caramel aspect. Later on all turning into limoncello with some spices. Becoming peppery at some point.

Mid long finish, spicy and caramel (was not expecting that to be honest). Some of the grassy elements is returning but the fruits are more dominant. Although it is loosing that fruitiness towards the end.
