- Need to tame the beast. A lot of complexity to find in this dram. I liked it, but you have to work for it
Nose is very reserved. Needs time in the glass, opens up after at least half an hour.
But then it's great. Very subtle, layered and complex. Grassy, malty, salty, old dusty closet. Also sweetish, like strawberries. Hint of smoke.
Alcohol dominates big time! It's a beast and not very nice at first. Again needs time and a fireproof mouthcoating. Behind all the alcohol you find again the subtleness and complexity.
Sweet and savoury. More like pears this time.
- Diamond in the rough
