Clearly the same base note as Batch 1 (herbs), but the PPM come through more. The wine barrel seems to emphasize the peat component more. The finish is surprisingly dry.

Rich and straight forward. No critical flaws. This is a peated red fruits juice that’s fairly dry due to the tannins. Good strength at 50%, couple drops of water may help elaborating the leafy fruit notes.

[83-85] I’ll get a bottle unless my bank account says otherwise.

Heavy peat, rather earthy. Red fruits with a touch of citrusy. Initially a touch meaty but instantly faded out. Slightly grassy, quite refreshing. Fresh hay. Pungent spirit that can be smoothen out by drops of watet. Brine. Smoked oak.

    P 26
Sweet and spicy. Moderately peated on palate, earthy and vegetal. Slightly ashy. More juicy red fruits than expected. Fiery peppery spices slowly tamed to give nutmegs and pecans. Smoked oak. Herbaceous with moderate level of menthol.

    F 24
Long, fairly dry finish. Juicy fruits. Handful of heated wood spices lingering.
