    Very creamy and good mouthfeel, more rich on the nose than on the palate, overall very nice and drinkable

      Very oily, creamy, liquorice, acacia honey, good sweetness, pepper, toffee, chocolate, wood spice, coffee, brown sugar, tobacco, nuts - pretty good

    A very pleasant Single Malt from Campbeltown, well-balanced, with prominent stone fruit, orange and dark chocolate aftertaste. The alcohol is very well hidden, which gives us a feeling of lightness in taste.

    Very good, deep. Unfortunately, the price for this is too high.

      Maritime, chalky. Sea Salt, Salted Caramel. Ripe orange, dried fruit, raisins. chocolate with mint. Subtle peat smoke. Some pepper. Leather and sweet pipe tobacco. Old forest honey.

      Oily. The nose is reflected on the palate, with additional components such as sandalwood. Note of honey and salt a little stronger than in the nose. Overall very nice and consistent.

      Medium to long. Coffee and dark chocolate, oak spice. sea salt and tender pepper.

    Nice deep dark brown color. Pleasant freshness, a hint of citrus, no 'old warehouse' smell. Then it becomes leathery, underlaid with delicate campfire smoke, and finally herbal. A little lovage, cloves and green pepper. Sweet pipe tobacco. Typical, dark sherry notes in the background, an exciting mixture of Oloroso and PX impressions, if the malt is given enough time.

    The lips almost look a bit greased when you enjoy it. As if you had used a lip balm. But tastes much better, because liquorice juice and candy are spreading. 46% ABV fits perfectly, nothing tweaks here. A spicy wild honey sweetness paves the way for a dark blend of salted liquorice, whisky fudge, walnuts, warm espresso and chewing tobacco, just like my grandfather used to 'enjoy'. He doesn't have to bring more with him, the Soringbank. Delicious! Elegant is different, but of course that doesn't do any harm here, especially since our test sample knows how to shine with complexity and balance.

    Slow and getting drier. Cold black coffee, cough syrup, herbal brew, liquorice, oak spice, wet cardboard, and black chocolate couverture. At the very end, what remains is a mixture of typical Springbank funk and something strongly reminiscent of rotting wood. He also brings some sulfur with him, but it is only really noticeable in the aftertaste. A venial sin for such a little dirt hump. Of course, caution is required when it comes to tastings. In any case, everything fits together well in the batch.
