The nose is a bit too strenuous for me, otherwise it would be very nice. In contrast to the 1990s by PST, a long time in the glass only helps to a limited extent. Complexity is higher than you might expect from a grain.

The Invergordon of Thompson Bros. gives me a traditional feeling. Fresh smell, roasted barley with flower and fruit fragrance, old oak and spices with black pepper, which make the taste dry and slightly hot, at the same time it has a sweet and age-old taste, but the smell is simple. it's still good.

lemon with pineapple fragrance, a little caramel and nuts.
    • Taste
      86 86
Sweet, black pepper with roasted barley, flower with fruit and old oak.
    • Finish
      85 85
medium length, spicy with the aroma of roasted barley, dried ginger, dry taste.

A pleasant dram with decent legs on it - would happily order it in a bar, not sure I'd want the whole bottle though.
    • Nose

Quite light on the nose, some citric sweetness - sherbet lemons perhaps.
    • Taste
      82 82
Some rye notes, melon, sweetness, slight burn from the spirit.
    • Finish
      82 82
Medium - some rye notes (spice, grass etc) with some heat coming through.
