- What a sherry bomb! Christmas cake, candies fruits figs toffee etc but nothing overpowering and a superb balance
- Wow! Color is between old oak and treacle - anyhow very dark! Absolutely great and flawless sherry cask! In my mind this one is on the same level like the famous Auld Acquaintance after tasting both head to head. For sure one of the best Bunnas. Flabbergasting!
Intense sherry notes, dark dried fruits, plums, dates, hints of raisins too, roasted nuts, spices, nutmeg, cloves, whiffs of herbs, acacia honey - fantastic!
Punchy, oily, creamy, fruity, truck loads of dark and dried fruits, toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, subtle sweetness, powerful oak wood and sherry, more spices and herbs - superb!
Long, warm, more fruits, spices, and good wood, not drying at all - endless - excellent!
- A rich and creamy body.
Smoky. Fresh see breezes. Complex. Maritime notes.
Fresh, concentrated flavours. Usually eatery. Ginger-toffee. Becoming nutty.
Dusty. Spicy-shop. Long and warming.
- A limited edition Bunnahabhain bottled by the distillery. Distilled in
1966 and released at the turn of the millenium after 35 years in wood.
