Whisky Reviews for Craigellachie 2002 DR
8 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 82.56 points
- Not my collar size at all!
Tart and grassy, later a honey sweetness is added. Light fruits like gooseberries and unripe apples ... not my cup of tea.
Sharp and sour. Unbalanced, unripe alcoholic with nuances of fruitiness.
Medium length and burning. Unpleasant occupies the palate.
- Young, bright and perky whisky, strong and burning
Dried fruits, ripe pear, smoked plum, citruses and bright sherry aroma, rich and fresh
Olive oil with spices and honey. tight and powerful, burning
some spices, light bitterness of grapefruit, orange peel, skin and dark dark chocolate
- Geiler fabric and significantly older than the difference between the date of filling and burning. And the 70 € then fit.
at first a touch of sulfur, then nut, dust, musty sweetness, it smells "old", I can describe it badly - it's not leather or tobacco or wood, but I still have an old, dark room with lots of leather and wood the eyes ... looks significantly older than 8 years and the alcohol does not sting ... a, two drops of water make him sweeter, more intense, but more brings nothing
strong, full and fat, the alcohol does not skin too strong, there is sharpness, but feels like 50%, very intense and dense in the taste, molasses, sugar beet syrup (goes already in a slightly sour direction), walnut, maple syrup ... there's also a rum note ... dried fruit in rum, and here's a sweetish tobacco note
long and tidily hot and peppery and dry, the sweet syrup stuffing also echoes a bit, bitterly not at all
- Not at all my collar size
Acidic and grassy, later added to a honey sweetness. Bright fruits like gooseberry and unripe apple ... not my case
Sharp and sour. Unbalanced, immature alcoholic with nuances of fruitiness
Medium long and burning. Occupies unpleasant the palate
- N: honey, dried fruits, orange, meaty, floral, figs and cinnamon
T: honey, spices and oily
F: dry sherry and some sulphur
tasted with rwillemze
- I quite enjoyed the mouthwatering aroma of it, but the taste is simply lacking in balance a bit. And yet this is a remarkable malt after all.
Orchard, wild flowers. Apricot, mango, sweet green bananas, peeled kiwi, peach, nuts, raisins, dried apricots, roasted chestnuts, leather, pencil eraser, spices, firm caramel candies, Tokay wine, preserves.
Dry, hot, sharp, acidulous, not sweet. Whoa! Now the alcohol strength is utterly evident. Cyder, sour apple, herbal decoction, zest, bitter citrus.
Long. Tart mandarin orange, grapefruit, orange peel, lime, basil, cloves, allspice, mixed zest, cinnamon, peanuts, pistachios, chocolate bar.
