  1. holborndrinker scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

A decent summer drinker which tastes quite different from its components - a decent dram.
    • Nose
      83 83
Green fruits but with a hint of bars of soap.
    • Taste
      84 84
Blossoms in the mouth, fruity, but with some sherry sharpness at the end.
    • Finish
      83 83
A nice balance at the end - the sherry note lingers, with some sweetness behind.

  2. Larry411 scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

Apples in honey, Fuzzy Peaches flavoured Ginger Ale, pear, mild/moderately smoked hot peppers, ginger root, vanilla cake, sultanas, cinnamon sticks, mushed peppermint patties, candied almonds, apple blossoms, and fudge. The Linkwood influence works well in this blend.

The name is program. It is fruity, floral and sweet and sour through and through. Yes, like walking through an apple orchard. The many whiskeys in there make it interesting, I can fully understand the main component Clynelish and I like it! 46%, no coloring, NCF for less than 40€ is nice! A whiskey to sip to show off to the full, but for the money it's not a thing either. But then you experience a very intense, long-lasting and summery fruity-floral Whiskey. I really like it!
    • Nose
      87 87
beautifully fruity, pear, citrus (the name says it all), plus some pastries, malt sweetness, vanilla, some charcoal/minimal smoke, sweetish spicy note, some caramel,
    • Taste
      86 86
tangy on the tongue, alcohol fits, then it stays tangy, citrus, some effervescent powder, light and summery, with larger sips it has a much more present effect, blossom honey, light fruit acid, pineapple?, with a little water the smoke component in the taste comes through and he gets a little rougher
    • Finish
      87 87
Still fruity on the finish, tangerine, citrus, apple, but now also a little astringent, dry, a little mineral, the slightly acidic floral-fruity note lingers in the mouth for a long time
