Old style whisky. Complex. Lots of depth for a 40% abv whisky. But hey, this is G&M CC old map label which almost never disappoints. Very nice and special.
    • Nose
An ' old fashioned' nose. Nutty. Old furniture. Smoky with a metalic edge. Floral notes and wet grass. Sweet barley.
    • Taste
Quite heavy but juicy. Some dried fruits and chocolate. Maltiness and tanninic. Cereal grains and soft peat.
    • Finish
Medium long. Dry and oaky. Little spicy. Hints of sherry? Nutmeg and ginger. Well balanced.
