Whisky Reviews for Caperdonich 1972 DT

1 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 90.00 points

  1. sagara-kun scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

It's good but the astringency is too much. Other than that, a nice fruit salad.
Tasted at the opening of the bottle, deserves a few months of ventilation to settle.
    • Nose
It is very fruity and a little astringent.
      Strawberry, raspberry, apricot, passion, pineapple.
      Green wood.
      Thyme.
      Very light white chocolate.
    • Taste
In the mouth it is enough syrup. Always a lot of fruit. The same as the nose.
      Always a light astringency.
      Some salted butter caramel.
    • Finish
Final astringent on pineapple not wall, wood.
