9 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 69.44 points
- The stuff is just sprittig and has various false notes
- The aromas are too thin and appear watered down. In addition, these slight off-flavors in the nose and the ever-present alcoholic pungency make no desire for more.
somewhat alcoholic, very restrained some toffee, little solvent, hides a slightly soapy feeling
very soft, slightly bland, trace of caramel and peach, becomes slightly bitter, metallic
short, mild vanilla, bitter, alcoholic
Soft and vibrant aromas of vanilla, sweet honey, dried fruit, nuts and oak
Silky texture, almost melt away on your tongue, with vanilla, toffee sweet, spicy caramel, walnut and oak with hints of spice and bitterness which adds nicely balances. A lively and complex combination of flavors
- Characterized by a pure
Irish flavor with a soft and full palette which shut in a long finish.
Good combination and available at a great price.
Slightly sweet, some malt, citrus, honey.
Very pleasant malt with some strong lemon and grapefruit citrus and honey. The taste is very smooth. The malt vis a vis the citrus creates something of a 'sweet and sour' effect
Long and consistent flavour throughout the finish
- From the Old Bushmills Distillery.
