The combination of Blair Athol and Madeira is quite spicy overall, but I like it because the Madeira does not dominate too much and a pleasant residual sweetness remains.

Nose

Peppermint tea, vanilla, wood spice, lovage, caramel, herbal mixture.

Taste

Strong start, nutty, Madeira tones present but not dominant, cough drop.

Finish

Long and clearly Madeira toned.
