First of all, it should be noted that the label is somewhat misleading. Seven Seals is not a distillery, but a company that buys whisky and "refines" it in a mysterious process. Rumor has it that it could be sourced whisky from the GND. Transparency is not really capitalized here. At least we know it was a 1st Fill Amarone Wine Cask.

First intense, almost artificial sweetness of cocktail cherries, menthol freshness, Em-Eukal cough drops, light smoke in the background. Alcohol is well integrated. With a little water and time, the sweetness recedes and it becomes drier. The smoke comes through more and goes towards the BBQ.

Strong start, pleasant mouthfeel, alcohol still well integrated. The smoke gets stronger. Some kirsch.

Rather short, slight sharpness, again clear smoke.
