140 EUR isn't cheap, but these days that's more than fair for what's on offer in a glass. Benromach rises and rises on my scale of favorite distilleries.

Créme Brulée with some burnt caramel, peach and passion fruit, tart notes, light smoke, in between I have pulled pork/BBQ in my nose. The alcohol is very well integrated, adding a little water brings tropical fruits to light.
Very round and quite complex, I haven't had such a great nose in my glass this year. Totally picks me up. -
Creamy mouthfeel, even undiluted no alcoholic sharpness recognizable, here too initially tropical fruits, which then gradually turn into smoke. Could be grilled pineapple.

Rather medium length, spicy, intense smoke and fruits.
