Very nice and quite tasty single malt. The alcohol is completely undetectable, a lot of sweetness, smoky and salty fruitiness. I like Talisker aside from the Sky display. This one is another one that I can recommend.
    • Nose
      85 85
wet undergrowth, steamed potatoes, drops, smoke
    • Taste
      86 86
sweet, honey, brine, citrus, raisins, smoky, slightly spicy ending with notes of oak and chili, and pharmacy accents
    • Finish
      86 86
medium long, salty, seaweed, smoked bacon

  4. MacArthur scored this whisky 84 points Expert Senior

A little sweeter, a little less spices than the 10 year old.
    Very accommodating

A little more peat smoke than the 10, but not overly so. The "Storm" looks a bit rougher and wilder than the 10 and offers the usual Talisker quality.
    • Nose
      84 84
Peat smoke, would have expected a little more of it, rather medium strength. Sea breeze, orange, pepper and some spices. Overall rather smooth.
    • Taste
      84 84
Peat smoke, sea salt and pepper. There is a certain sharpness, but not unpleasant. orange and spices. Also some sweetness.
    • Finish
      83 83
Becomes drier, peat smoke, salt and pepper remain for a medium length.

  7. KB201 did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

Talisker Storm Unaged Whisky was first presented in early 2013. So that it brings the Talisker-typical spice, it matures in roasted American oak barrels. It combines complexity and smoky depth and is traded as the smokiest whisky on the Isle of Skye.
    • Nose
Spicy and intense. Fruity with orange, plus peat smoke and some oak.
    • Taste
Spicy and powerful on the tongue. Dominant, peppery note (Chili Catch), with smoke and salt.
    • Finish
Very long and spicy, with a pleasantly fruity note.
