peatbogger scored this whisky 88 points

But this is excellent stuff. Delicious.
Just wondering why they had to color it ???

Surprisingly soft and gentle.
Sweet caramel and toffee.
A mix of fruits, oranges, a slightly sour undertone.
A floral waft mix with a hint of smoke which now and then even have a touch of peat.
Water make it more "yellow" on the fruit, more grapefruit than orange. -
Oily texture on arrival.
Sweet, nutty, fruity.
Gentle spices, some herbs.
Perfect ABV unless you got the bottle and want to experiment. Spices survives a good dash of water, but I feel it gets a little more flat and not as complex.
A complexity that makes it feel a lot more mature than the 15 on the label. -
Nutty. Light smoke.
As with all great whisky you are left wishing it lasted a little longer.
Water doesn't change the length, but it is less sweet and it brings out some slightly bitter smoke.
