the original with a vegetable side, aniseed, more fruity on the palate, peppery and sweet, on white fruits (apple, pear), a malty side and slight traces of smoke
    vanilla, caramel,
in the shadow of Longmorn, now owns one of the 7 malting areas.

a benriach 10 of some time ago:
nose based on vanilla, on malt, then various spices giving a little more character.
on the palate, it is simple, fresh, on juicy apple-pear fruits, on a slightly sweet and lemony side; it is soft!
simplicity of the very monolithic dram.

  3. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 80 points Connoisseur

Very light malt, somewhat licorice-heavy, but with time was very good drinkable.

  4. sagara-kun scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

A very easy drink and quite pleasant to drink.
No complexity but no big false note either.
    • Nose
Apricot syrup, light camphor, pepper. Apple pear.
    • Taste
On the palate it is also on the fruit, mainly white. A little caramel, candy.
    • Finish
Final on candy, sugar and fruit

  6. dRambo scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

very oily in the gas for its alcohol content, looks much riper in the mouth than the 10 years on the label - he is not particularly complex - but delicious
    • Nose
light nose - apple, malt, light wood, noticeable waxy notes - tart lemon, herbaceous woody notes, floral
    • Taste
sweet, sugared lemon, beeswax, tree sap, green deciduous bark, dangerously tasty - flattering and surprisingly full-bodied
    • Finish
fresh mint, vanilla, coconut cream, toasted notes, malt
