Typing something here is not easy. The furniture polish note and the grainy aroma on the nose made me think of a grain. Despite the intermittent sharpness it exhibits on the tongue, I think it could be around 43%. A blend?
(After the resolution: I probably had a few cask strength whiskey too many lately. Rarely was it so wrong with the alcohol strength)
An extremely spicy nose, like a spice cabinet that has just been opened, thyme, tarragon, marjoram and cloves push forward. Underneath, milk chocolate and nougat emerge, a grainy note, furniture polish.
Initially mild in attack, it quickly increases, bringing a certain pepper and paprika spiciness to the tongue, only to become a little tamer again shortly afterwards. Milk chocolate, vanilla pudding, much less differentiated spices than on the nose.
Medium length, slightly dry, recurring pepper and paprika spice, cereal notes, caramelized popcorn, malt.
