  1. Dre73 scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Nice, powerful dram, first very sweet, later on it turns into more apple sirup, and after that, again fudge sweetness appears. Nice experience for sure.
    • Nose
Initially, quite some fudge and fruits, but after quite some time, it turns way more into sweet and sour apple sirup.
    • Taste
Quite some power intially, sweet and fruity, wine gums, honey sweetness. Then a lot of fudge and caramel peeps in again.
    • Finish
More smooth now, sweet fruits, orange, wine gums, a bitter touch as well, orange zest. Also a bit drying. Later on again some fudge. Pretty long.

Sweet and sour, initially quite explicit fudge notes, loads of sour apple, switching to Dutch appelstroop (thick treaclish apple syrup), also some tropical notes with pineapple and peach, some sweet bread dough at the back.
    • Taste
      86 86
Creamy and sweet, the high abv is clearly noticable, though it takes water easily. More fudge, Dutch apple syrup, caramelized apple, sweet lemons, grapefruit, honied, peppery, slightly dusty on oak wood.
    • Finish
      85 85
Quite long: fudgy, caramel, honey, sweet orange, drying on peppery and dusty wood notes.

Delicious honey dominates this whisky in the nose, in the taste and in the medium-length finish. It tolerates a little water very well.
