How much is going on in this whisky.
The beginning of the aroma is the perceptible alcohol, which for me is unacceptable. But with time, the alcohol disappears completely and the notes of malty and fruity break through and it is almost a storm of fruit and flowers.
The taste is a real "delicacy". Fruit jelly in the foreground that is so intense that it dominates the rest of the flavors, and there is really an endless amount of them. Lime, mango, and pineapple. Is great!
The finish is very long, citrusy, but with a minimal dose of salty breeze.
Alcohol, despite over 60%, is completely non-existent !!!
I like a drink that has a lot of power, and at the same time this power is not dominant.
Water drop :
The aroma is much worse, without any outstanding malty notes. The caramel and tofia seem to stand out, but that's not what I would expect. Here on the "minus"
Taste ... Oh, oh, still this delicious cherry jelly and a lot of fruit, there was a delicate dark chocolate, but the overall assessment was unchanged.
The finish is still very long, but already more spicy, sharp and somewhat irritating. The end is slightly sweet with a mint note, but also a burning esophagus.
To sum up....
This whisky should be drunk only in the original version !!!
The addition of water spoils more than it gives.
the beginning is slightly alcoholic, spicy, then there is honey sweetness, butter, caramel, toffee flowers, bread crust, dates, raisins
sweet, delicate sulfur, lots of fruit, cherry jelly, lime, mango, pineapple, honey
long, warming, quite sweet, slightly salty end with the addition of fresh citrus, a minimum amount of spicy spices
