A typical modern designed whisky to the so-called mainstream taste. One among hundreds - nothing special, nothing to remember by tomorrow morning. I get bored about such "streamlined" drams...
The colour is pale straw and the texture shows fast legs and late tears. The nose is on a two-dimensional vanilla-phenolic profile as so many modern "designed" whiskies. Not bad, but a little boring.
The taste is again somewhat "designed" sweet & peaty. Some water improves the dram.
It arrives unimpressive in the mouth without any coating or warming feeling - just a little drying (cold ashes). The finish is rather short and unimpressive with some minor herbal flavours added.
