    Distilled - 14th August 2017 Abv. - 51%

Cask Type - Sherry Butt/Bourbon Barrel

    Colour - Stunning Medium Gold

Body - Young fresh and vibrant with a beautiful warm texture.

Aromas & Flavours - Opens on a combination of soft fruits, pear & melon with just a hint of toasted almonds, then the sweet malt extract in harmony with the mellow sweetness from the charred oak staves holds the aromas beautifully and you may find just a hint of fruity spiciness from its first occupant. As it opens slowly you will detect a drift of honey & lemon then the crisp sweetness of toasted malt barley arrives like a morning sunrise in harmony with the Spanish oak. They totally highlight the quality of this hand crafted young spirit.

The texture of the spirit is smooth and vibrant with the flavours discovered on the nose emerging beautifully on the palate and they linger long after the glass is empty. Finally you may just find a hint of peat smoke, the passion of the Distiller and his skill shines through the spirit and that is what makes it rather special and unique.

Passion, Pride and patience, its all there!!

Is a very young whisky, but despite its young age it presents itself with great flavors and high complexity. I am absolutely thrilled. I still have 2 barrels of seeders from another distillery on the table which are 13Y and 17Y in the barrel and the youngster from Creag Dearg completely steals the show from both of them. We are considering and better investing in the Creag Dearg Distillery than a 17Y barrel which does not bring the quality.
We take off our hats from the master distiller - this is actually a masterpiece. We look forward to more.
