John Wolfe Ambrose - Single Malt - 59.17%ABV - €99.95
In this exclusive release, we will be bringing you Irish Single Malt, which has been on a very interesting journey. This fruity and complex whisky was initially matured in Bourbon Casks, which was then finished in Pinot Noir Casks. Finally, the liquid was transferred into seven fifty-five litre quarter casks, which initially held Peated Bourbon. Nick of Thomond Gate sourced these unique casks from the Kings County Distillery in Brooklyn, New York.
This release was named after John Wolfe Ambrose, who haled from Co. Limerick and helped to design the only deep-water shipping lane in and out of the port of New York City.
